A-ha to perform in Singapore for the first time at Turf Club in Kranji
Norwegian ring A-ha is coming to Singapore for the first fourth dimension ever on Mar 21, 2020, at Singapore Turf Lodge (Kranji) for their Hunting Loftier and Low tour.
It will be the band's only stop in Southeast Asia.
The tour is named after the trio's successful debut album in 1985, which spawned their hits Have On Me and The Sunday Always Shines On Goggle box. Expect to hear other popular tunes such as Crying In The Rain, The Living Daylights and Stay On These Roads from vocalizer Morten Harket, keyboardist Magne Furuholmen and guitarist Pal Waaktaar-Savoy.
Autonomously from the headline act, concert-goers can likewise savor a live DJ spinning 80s hits, 80s-themed activities and a beer garden with food and drinks on the festival grounds.
Priority sale for Nets, the official presenter of the Singapore testify, will start on Wednesday (Nov 13), while Singtel priority sales will start on Thursday (Nov 14). General sales will start on Nov xv.
Tickets are priced at S$148 for general admission and S$248 for VIP privileges, which include priority entry and a reserved pit expanse. They are bachelor at Sistic online, through the hotline at 6348 5555 and at authorised agents.
Harket said of the band's motivation for the tour: "With this bout, we want to share our excitement and nostalgia with our fans around the world and allow us to gloat that experience together."
Furuholmen added: "Revisiting this torso of work at present feels like inspiration rather than obligation."
A-ha has a serial of Australia, New Zealand and Japan dates in Feb and March side by side year before heading to Singapore.
